This pass includes your All Day 48 Hr Admission Pass – it’s a great value for money combo ticket. Tours depart at 10 am, 12 noon, 2 pm and 4 pm daily – Bookings essential. We will email you an e-ticket, which you can either print and bring with you or use your smartphone to gain entry when you arrive. Book the 4 pm tour? Get here by 3 pm to enjoy the main attraction. Chick viewing might not happen due to conservation rules.

What is the difference between 48hrs pass and a VIP backstage pass
The VIP Backstage Pass Tour includes your All Day 48 Hr Admission Pass, so it's a combo ticket. The VIP tour gives you a 40-minute guided experience with exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the kiwi incubation and hatching facility, up-close Tuatara encounters, and insights into kiwi conservation from a Kiwi Ranger. It's a unique and personalized experience, while the 48-hour pass is just for general admission.
When is the penguin feeding time
The penguin feeding times are at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm daily. Make sure to catch it, it's a real treat!
Can we touch or hold the kiwi
Touching or holding the kiwi isn't allowed, as they're highly endangered and protected by The Department of Conservation. But you can still enjoy seeing them up close in our nocturnal walkthrough area or during a behind-the-scenes experience with our hatching programme.
